One is the Holiest Number

Loneliness is feeling separate even amidst a crowd; love is feeling connected even when alone.

Since childhood, we’ve been taught that one is the loneliest number. ?We’ve been taught that when we are alone, we will be sad and disconnected.

It’s time to rewrite this story. ?It’s time to live the truth.

One is the number from which all numbers begin–from which all life begins. ?Everything in this world is but an amalgamation of ones. ?One atom at a time, and a universe is formed. ?One breath at a time, and an entire life is lived.

One is all. ?One is the holiest number.

One is the number we are most intimate with–we experience this life in one body, as one person.

And yet, out of one, the entire universe is experienced. ?It takes one to witness the passionflower wildly opening at dawn. ?It takes one to stand up in a crowd and speak the truth.

It takes one to lead. ?It takes one to follow.

One can choose to love herself and change the world.

Only one domino falls at a time. ?Only one baby passes through the birth canal at a time.

Slow down, and you will see that nature is a symphony of ones. ?One seed into one tree. ?One sun into one moon into one Earth.

Nothing is alike; everything is one.

Water: one hydrogen. ?One hydrogen. ?One oxygen.

You: one heart. ?One journey.

A commitment to self is a commitment to one. ?A commitment to one is a commitment to all.

We need one hydrogen atom to be itself for there to be an ocean. ?We need you to live your full potential for the world to thrive.

Your contribution to this planet is an essential drop of water in the ocean of one-ness.
